A highlight at the dinner was the Donkey Ears Competition which was won by Diana Humphries.
We visited the Glenrose Friesan Horse stud with big black upstanding horses which are noted for a sensible disposition. Some were presented to us for close inspection and others showed off their paces in an arena. Another special event was a huge moon called a Super Perigee Full Moon which occurs when at its closest to earth.
A sumptious dinner was enjoyed by all.
Braemore Honey, a very old English donkey in retirement, enjoyed the attention of two young girls during the walk around at Andrea's Pemberton Donkey Stud and home to some of the Protection Trust donkeys.
